A search operation was initiated near the Karyachak Chowk by the police patrol team, and upon seeing them, the driver of the container started fleeing at high speed. The police intercepted and caught him near Bahadurpur village. Upon inspection, 98 cartons of foreign liquor were found hidden under sacks of rice. When questioned, the driver revealed that he had brought the liquor consignment from Kanpur and was supposed to distribute it at various locations in Muzaffarpur district. He mentioned that he was returning after delivering the liquor consignment in Jarangdih. During the raid in Jarangdih, 760 liters of foreign liquor were seized from Sunil Kumar Singh's house, and three smugglers who arrived to collect the delivery were arrested. They stated that the estimated value of the seized foreign liquor is around 10 lakh rupees. The identified arrested smugglers are Narendra Kumar from Sambhar Lake police station area in Jaipur district of Rajasthan, Mukesh Sahni from Atarbel village in Singhwara police station area of Darbhanga district, and Mo. Vasir from Milky village in Kamtaul police station area. All arrested smugglers have been placed in judicial custody. Meanwhile, raids are being conducted to apprehend the unidentified smugglers.
