Another girl who had gone missing from her home was found nearby. After continuous search by the relatives, both were finally recovered on Saturday morning from a relative's place in Dehri On Sone in Rohtas. When the relatives found out that the girls did not return home and learned about the incident, they were shocked. Subsequently, both were taken to the police station by the relatives, where the victims told the station in-charge that they were drugged and taken to a hotel in Mohania while going to school, where there was already a girl and a boy present, and all three were sexually assaulted. Somehow we managed to escape from there and reached our relative's place and informed the relatives about it.
Here, after the girls' statements, slowly people started gathering at the police station on Saturday evening. Seeing the sensitivity of the situation, Inspector Ram Ji Prasad, without wasting time, with the help of the police force and the watchman, arrested two accused of the incident. Both accused, Sunil alias Lala Thathera, son of the late Arvind Thathera of Ramgarh, and Sonu alias Monu, son of Jwala Thathera, were arrested and after a long interrogation in front of the victims, they were sent to judicial custody. Meanwhile, the victim students were sent to Mohaniya Sub-District Hospital for medical check-up.
