Simri Bakhtiyarpur, a representative. Based on secret information, a joint raid was conducted by the Bihar STF and local Sonbarsa Raj Police on Thursday night, arresting notorious criminal Gunsagar Yadav, who had a reward of 50,000 rupees on him, from the Viratpur-Chandisthan road in the Sonbarsa Raj Thana area. The arrested criminal is involved in more than 10 cases. The police had been searching for him for about 8 months. On Friday, a press conference was held at the Bakhtiyarpur police station by Simri Bakhtiyarpur SDPO Mukesh Kumar Thakur to share information about the arrest. He mentioned that on Thursday evening, they received secret information that the infamous criminal Gunsagar Yadav was seen on the Viratpur to Chandisthan road. Acting promptly, the Sonbarsa Raj Police and STF jointly arrested him.
The arrested criminal, who was on the run for nearly 8 months in a case under the Arms Act, was wanted by the police. The notorious criminal arrested is a resident of Jamhara village in the Sonvarsha Raj police station area. He has a total of 10 criminal cases registered against him at the Sonvarsha Raj police station, and the Saharsa police had announced a reward of ₹50,000 on him.
However, no weapon was recovered from the arrested criminal. The arrested criminal has been sent to judicial custody in Saharsa Court on Friday. Circle Police Inspector Mo. Shuja Uddin was present during the press conference, along with Sonvarsha Raj Police.
