The leadership of the International Boxing Association (IBA) has excluded from the list of participants in the women's world championship in India athletes who tried to pass themselves off as women. This was announced by the organization's president Umar Kremlev to TASS on Saturday.

The Women's World Championship is taking place in New Delhi from March 15 to 26.

"Based on the DNA test results, we identified a number of athletes who tried to deceive their colleagues by pretending to be women. The tests proved that they have XY chromosomes. Such athletes were disqualified from the competitions," Kremlin said.
