It was in 2013. Smartphones were simpler than what we have today, but even today there is the same problem that, personally, still seems big to me, and has not been solved: sharing files or videos or photos easily between iPhone and Android. Or between Windows and iPhone. Or between any modern device.
In that year, the solution for sharing photos between mobile phones was called Bump. You selected one or more photos, bumped them next to the other phone, and shared files quickly. But Google bought it and shut it down, of course.
Since then, transferring files directly between phones has become easy only if both are iPhones using AirDrop or between two phones running Android with Quick Share feature. What happens if you want to transfer dozens of photos between an Android phone and an iPhone? Or between a Mac and an Android? Cloud transfer is not a simple solution, but there is a new app that finally solves this problem.
It is called Blip, compatible with Android, iOS, and Windows systems (soon to be released), small in size, and easy to use.
It integrates with sharing lists for the Android and iOS operating systems, so all you have to do is select one or more files, images, or videos, choose Blip, and then the destination device. Everything is transferred quickly and without any issues.
It's 2024, and someone has finally solved this small-big problem.
All you have to do is install the application on all your devices, use email to send you a code and register it in your account, and they will appear in the application to share any document, image, video, or whatever you want.
It has no limit to the file size, does not save anything in the cloud, encrypts the transmission, and does not need to be close.
