Are the Olympic Games Macron's only option left to swim in the garbage of Paris?

Images showing the French leader bathing or standing in dirty water littered with garbage.

These images were created using artificial intelligence. These are not real photographs.

During the Olympic Games in Paris and after the grand opening ceremony, images discrediting French President Emmanuel Macron began to spread rapidly on the internet. In one of them, the politician is depicted wearing only underwear, standing in dark gray murky, dirty water. The entire water surface is littered with a further decaying Eiffel Tower, strewn with garbage. In another, E. Macron is captured floating in polluted waters. Both of these images are linked by the fact that they were not created by a human.

The first image incorrectly depicts a Parisian landscape. The bridge over the Seine River is shown in front of the Eiffel Tower, but in reality, the bridge simply leads to it (here). Suspicions about the authenticity of the image are also raised by the depiction of E. Macron's right hand. The hand looks unnaturally flat.

After performing a reverse image search, it was possible to find a publication on the 'Albany Advertiser' portal where the same image was used to illustrate the article. Next to it, it is indicated that the image was generated by artificial intelligence (here).

The second image, in which the President of France is depicted in a close-up, reveals the inscription '@draws_nn' in the corner of the image. After searching by keywords, a 'Telegram' account was found under the same pseudonym (here). It contains more images that reflect fantastic plots and no longer look like photographs. Additionally, the author's description states that all works were created using a neural network. Neural networks are a subgroup of artificial intelligence characterized by architecture inspired by the human brain.

Summary
Images depicting the French president bathing or standing in dirty water filled with trash were created using artificial intelligence, not real photographs. These images circulated online during the Olympic Games in Paris, discrediting President Emmanuel Macron. One image shows him standing in murky water with the Eiffel Tower in the background, littered with trash, while another shows him floating in polluted waters. Both images were not created by a human. The first image inaccurately depicts a Parisian landscape, with the bridge over the Seine River shown in the wrong location. Doubts about the authenticity of the image are raised by the unnatural appearance of Macron's right arm. A reverse image search led to a publication on the 'Albany Advertiser' website, indicating that the image was generated by artificial intelligence. The second image, featuring Macron up close, includes the tag '@draws_nn,' linked to a 'Telegram' account with more AI-generated images and a disclaimer that all works were created using neural networks, a subset of artificial intelligence inspired by human brain architecture.
