The 2A3 and 300B, the queen and king of vacuum tubes, respectively, have a strong following among audio enthusiasts. While these vacuum tubes look very similar, differences in filament voltage and operating points prevent them from being interchangeable. Some amplifiers may allow switching and adjustments to accommodate both types, but the TU-8233 is equipped with an innovative feature that automatically detects whether the vacuum tube installed is a 2A3 or a 300B, and adjusts the settings accordingly. This eliminates the need for cumbersome manual switching and adjustments, allowing for easy comparison listening with just one unit.

※The standard included output tube is 2A3. Please prepare 300B separately.
