Informing the concerned authorities in the case, the drug department was notified. A team, including a female drug inspector, arrived at the Baltheri checkpoint, where the cough syrup is being examined.
They said that further action will be taken based on the report of the Drug Control Department. It is worth mentioning that before this, banned cough syrup was seized at the checkpoint.
