40 liters of country liquor and 18 bottles of syrup seized, two arrested

Police raided different places and seized 40 liters of country liquor and 18 bottles of banned cough syrup. Two smugglers have been arrested. The police received confidential information that Avdhesh Mandal at the tea shop in Ward No. 14, Lakshminia Tola of Lalpur Saropatti Panchayat, was selling country liquor. The police conducted a raid at the shop. During this, one suspect tried to escape, but was caught by the police force. During the search of the apprehended suspect, 20 liters of country liquor were found. Meanwhile, the police conducted a raid at a shop near the petrol pump and arrested Arun Ram of Ward No. 11, Singheshwar Nagar Panchayat, with 20 liters of country liquor. A raid was also conducted at the tea shop of Uday Mandal located at Dhanbad Chowk. The smuggler managed to escape upon seeing the police. However, 18 bottles of banned cough syrup were seized. The raid team included SI Kapil Dev Yadav, ASI Devendra Thakur, and constables Laxman Kumar and Om Prakash Kumar. The SHO, Birendra Ram, stated that all apprehended suspects have been sent to judicial custody.
