Despite the enforcement of prohibition laws in Bihar, the activities of the liquor mafia show no signs of slowing down. Recently, the police in Jamui district uncovered a fascinating and unique plan for liquor smuggling. The liquor mafia used beehives for smuggling alcohol, leaving the police astonished.
The Product Police received information that smugglers are hiding English liquor between the roofs of beehives. Taking action on this, the police caught the smugglers at the Dumri checkpoint in the Sono police station area on the Jamui road. Initially, the smugglers succeeded in surprising the police, but upon suspicion, the police conducted a scan, revealing bottles of liquor.
According to the Jamui Product Manager, the police seized about 65 crates of liquor in this operation and arrested two smugglers. The liquor was being sent from the Saraiya police station area in Giridih, Jharkhand, to Hajipur, and the plan was to reach Hajipur via Badhiya. However, the liquor hidden under the bee's roof could not escape the police's attention, thwarting the smugglers' scheme.
