Near the Jakkanpur police station area in Patna, the police have busted a gang of alcohol smugglers. The police have arrested four alcohol smugglers from a house and have also seized 4265 bottles of foreign liquor. During the raid, the police have recovered nearly 1,22,900 rupees in cash. The approximate value of the 4265 bottles of foreign liquor is around 5 lakh rupees.

The police informed that they received confidential information that liquor was being hidden by traffickers in a house. Acting on the tip-off, the police team conducted a raid in Narender Singh Gali, where they arrested four traffickers with 4265 bottles of different brands of foreign liquor.

After arresting the traffickers, when the police interrogated, the main trafficker Sagar Kumar revealed that they used trains and cars to smuggle alcohol from Uttar Pradesh. They had rented a room to store the alcohol. Deliveries were made from that room. Another accused has also emerged during the interrogation. The police are working to apprehend him.
