Three gamblers arrested from Footani Mor
Dialogue partner, Kotaalpokhar (Sahibganj): The Barahdwa police arrested three gamblers at a gambling den near Footani Mod on Tuesday night. 10 bikes and 20 thousand rupees cash were seized. Information about some people playing gambling behind a brick kiln near Footani Mod was received by Barahdwa police in-charge Ravindra Kumar. Upon receiving the information, the police in-charge raided the gambling den with the Quick Response Team. During this raid, the police caught three gamblers from the gambling den. Taking advantage of the darkness, dozens of people managed to escape. The police also seized 10 bikes from the gambling den. Police in-charge Ravindra Kumar informed that three individuals were caught playing gambling on a platform behind Jaykishan Brick Kiln in the Barahdwa police station area. Among the arrested individuals are Moin Ansari and Kailash Sah from Bakudih in Thannapahar police station area, and Sohan Pandit from Sahibdanga in the Barahdwa police station area. The in-charge mentioned that the three individuals are being interrogated.
