Jharia. After questioning 7 gamblers arrested from the gambling den, Jharia police sent them to jail on Thursday. Jharia police had arrested all of them with cash and playing cards on Wednesday evening. After the arrest, a team of vehicles also gathered at the police station. But none of them worked. Jharia police in-charge Santosh Kumar Singh said that the police received information that a gambling den was operating in Baniyahir and Bhalghada. A large number of gamblers gather at these dens. Forming a team, a raid was conducted near Indiranagar in Bhalghada first. Munna Prasad Verma, Alauddin Sai, and Babloo Qureshi were caught from there. 50 playing cards and some cash were recovered from them. Near Baniyahir, Rajkumar Singh, Mantu Yadav, Babloo Ansari, and Sapna Bauri were caught. 60 playing cards and cash were recovered from them. The managers of both places are on the run. The police are conducting raids to catch them. All of them have been sent to jail.
