Mercedes-Benz E-Class (W212) (2009-2016) Fuse Diagram

Inhalt

Fuse box diagram (fuse layout), location, and assignment of fuses and relays Mercedes-Benz E-Class (W212; E180, E200, E220, E250, E300, E350, E400, E500 & E63 AMG) (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016).

Checking and Replacing Fuses

The fuses in your vehicle serve to close down faulty circuits. If a fuse blows, all the components on the circuit and their functions stop operating. If a fuse has blown, the inside element will be melted. Blown fuses must be replaced with fuses of the same rating, which you can recognize by the color and value. The fuse ratings are listed in the fuse allocation chart. The fuse allocation chart is located in the vehicle tool kit in the storage compartment under the trunk/cargo compartment floor.

If a newly inserted fuse also blows, have the cause traced and rectified at a qualified specialist workshop, e.g. an authorized Mercedes-Benz Center.

Location

Location of fuses

  • F32 – Front electrical prefuse box
  • F33 – Rear prefuse box (engine 273.9)

Zusammenfassen
The article provides detailed information about the fuse box diagram, location, and assignment of fuses and relays for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class (W212) models from 2009 to 2016. It explains the importance of fuses in protecting electrical circuits and outlines the procedure for checking and replacing blown fuses, emphasizing the need to use fuses of the same rating. The fuse allocation chart is found in the vehicle's tool kit. The article also describes the locations of various fuse boxes, including the front and rear prefuse boxes and the engine compartment fuse box. Instructions for accessing the engine compartment fuse box are provided, including safety precautions like ensuring the windshield wipers are off. A detailed list of fuses, their ratings, and the components they protect is included, covering various systems such as the electronic stability program, fuel system control, and audio systems. The article serves as a comprehensive guide for E-Class owners to manage their vehicle's electrical systems effectively.
